Privacy Policy

The short version

JingaTink does not ask you to register, does not set advertising cookies, and does not build profiles of readers. We use self-hosted, cookie-free analytics that counts page views in aggregate. We do not sell data, and we have none worth selling.

What we collect

Server logs

Our host records standard request data: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and browser user agent. These logs exist to keep the site up and to spot abuse. They are kept for a short period and then deleted or anonymised. We do not combine them with anything else.

Cookie-free analytics

Our analytics tool runs on our own server. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not track you across other sites. It tells us which pages are read and roughly which country readers come from. That is all.

Email

If you write to [email protected], we keep your message and address for as long as needed to answer and to handle any follow-up. We do not add you to a mailing list without you asking.

Partner links

Some links to companion platforms carry a partner or affiliate tag. When you click one, the destination platform may set its own cookies and record the referral. That happens on their site, under their policy, not ours. Those platforms typically require an account, usually with an email address and sometimes with payment details, and many of them log conversations. Read their privacy policy before you sign up; it matters more than ours does.

We do not receive your account details, chat content or payment information from partner platforms. At most, an affiliate dashboard tells us that a click led to a signup, without identifying you.

Legal bases and your rights

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interest for server logs and security, and on consent where consent is required for anything optional. You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected] with the request and enough detail for us to find the relevant records. We answer within the time the law allows, usually within a month. If we cannot identify you from the request, we may ask for clarification rather than guess.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change analytics providers or add a feature that collects more, this page will say so before the change takes effect. The date of the last revision is shown at the foot of the page.
