About JingaTink

What this site is

JingaTink reviews AI girlfriend and AI companion apps. We look at what each one does, what it costs once the intro offer ends, what it does with your data, and who it is actually built for. The site is for adults. We assume you can read a pricing page and decide for yourself; our job is to make sure the pricing page is not the only thing you read.

Who runs it

A small editorial team: two writers, one editor, and a part-time developer who keeps the site fast and the analytics cookie-free. We are not affiliated with any platform we review. None of us holds a stake in a companion app company. We are based in Europe and write in English for a mostly US and EU readership.

How we work

We do not claim hands-on testing of every feature, and we do not buy subscriptions to every plan. Our reviews rest on published information: pricing pages, terms of service, privacy policies, help-centre articles, changelogs, app store listings and user reports from forums and review threads. Where a platform's own pages contradict each other, we say so. Where a feature is advertised but documented thinly, we treat it as unproven rather than promised.

Scores are split into categories: realism, memory, images, video, voice, customization, value, privacy and ux. Those category scores feed the overall score. We revise both when prices change, features get removed, or enough user reports point the same way. A score is a snapshot, not a verdict for all time.

Editorial independence

JingaTink earns money through partner links. That pays for hosting and our time. It does not buy a place in a ranking, a higher score or softer wording. Commission rates are not part of the scoring discussion; the person who writes a review does not see the rate card for that platform. If a partner scores badly on privacy, we write that, and we have done so.

We do not accept payment for reviews, we do not publish sponsored posts dressed as verdicts, and we do not remove criticism because a partner asked. If we ever run clearly labelled advertising, it will look different from editorial content and will not affect scores.

Corrections

Prices and policies move fast in this category. If something on the site is out of date or wrong, write to [email protected] and we will check it against the source and fix it. Corrections are noted in the page itself, not quietly deleted.
