Secrets AI vs Nastia AI: Which Companion App Deserves Your Money?
Secrets AI sells continuity, live calls and realistic media at a premium. Nastia AI sells cheap uncensored flirting and big group scenes. The...
Candy.ai sells cheap entry and polished images; OurDream AI sells volume, longer video and a large character library. Here is what each actually costs per picture and per minute.
Candy.ai and OurDream AI sit close together in our ranking. We rate Candy.ai 9.8 out of 10 and OurDream AI 9.7 out of 10, so the gap is small enough that the right pick depends on what you do inside the app, not on a headline score.
Both are web-only, both are 18+, both charge a subscription and then bill extra credits for images, video and voice. That last part is where the two diverge. Candy starts cheaper and produces the better-looking photos. OurDream gives you roughly ten times the monthly credits, longer video and deeper character tools.

Short version: if you want the cheapest possible start and the best still images, take Candy. If you plan to generate a lot of media and want characters with more room to move, take OurDream.
Candy is built around the image. Faces stay consistent between generations, the art style is polished, and the interface is quick to learn. One comparison site reports selfies generating in under five seconds. That speed is the product.
OurDream is built around quantity and range. The homepage claims a community library of over 11 million characters. You get group roleplay, video clips up to 60 seconds, optional audio on video, and a published coin price for every single feature. It is a bigger machine with more knobs.
The price tags look like they contradict that. Candy's annual plan is cheaper than OurDream's. But the credits tell a different story: Candy hands out 100 tokens a month, OurDream hands out 1,000 dreamcoins. Per dollar of media, OurDream wins by a wide margin.

Candy's creator is detailed but fast. You set appearance, personality and backstory, and you are chatting within a couple of minutes. The trade-off shows up later: characters tend to agree with you rather than push back, so scenes can flatten out. Creating an extra custom character reportedly costs about 10 tokens, which is a tenth of the monthly allowance. That is a real cost for people who like to build a cast.
OurDream goes deeper. Creating a chatbot costs 10 dreamcoins, and the same amount buys you far more room in the month than it does on Candy. The 11-million-character library means you rarely need to build from scratch, and group roleplay lets several characters answer in one thread. You trigger a group reply by clicking a portrait or typing @ plus the name.
OurDream also publishes a per-feature coin list, so you can see what a creation costs before you spend. Candy's token economy is less transparent, and the token system is the most common complaint in user reports.
This is Candy's strongest ground. The output looks like a professional photo shoot: consistent faces, good lighting, believable skin. OurDream's images are also strong, with both realistic and anime styles, but Candy's consistency across a set is the reason people stay.
Now the maths. Candy charges roughly 4 tokens per image, so 100 tokens works out to about 25 images a month. OurDream charges 5 dreamcoins for an in-chat image, or 10 for two standard images. At reported rates that is roughly 200 images a month on the entry plan. Eight times the pictures for a subscription that costs more, but not eight times more.
Top-ups widen the gap. Extra Candy tokens reportedly start around $9.99 per 100, which puts an extra image near $0.40 by our estimate. OurDream top-ups are reported at $11.99 per 1,000 coins, working out to about $0.06 an image. Neither figure is published as a per-image price; treat both as estimates built from the credit packs.
OurDream has one nasty catch. If your subscription lapses, it blurs all generated images and videos. Download what you want to keep before you cancel.
Candy generates image-to-video at roughly 12 tokens a clip, which is about eight clips per 100 tokens. Live Action, reported as launching in February 2026, burns tokens around three times faster than images and is limited to selected characters. Voice notes and calls run about 3 tokens a minute, and calls are still labelled beta.
OurDream's video is the more serious tool. Clips run up to 60 seconds, with Ultra mode at 200 coins and an audio add-on at 20 coins per second. Standard video is 100 dreamcoins per 5 seconds, and the monthly allowance covers roughly 10 short clips. Voice calls cost 50 dreamcoins per minute and narration 5 coins per paragraph.
Both platforms' voice quality sits at 8.2 and 7.9 in our book. Neither sounds human enough to fool anyone. If voice is your main interest, look at our Secrets AI review before deciding.
Unlimited text chat is included on paid plans at both. The difference is what the chat remembers.
Candy's memory is thin. Storylines reportedly reset after 48 to 72 hours, and Premium Plus adds 20 memory slots but a chat reset wipes them anyway. OurDream scores slightly better but is not strong either. Assume neither will hold a long story arc together without reminders, and repeat key details when they matter.
Roleplay depth favours OurDream. Group scenes, a huge character library and the Genius chat models at 1 dreamcoin per reply give you more ways to play. One site claims OurDream caps messages at 500 or 2,000; the company's own material says unlimited, and we go with the company's statement.
Candy's characters are pleasant but agreeable. If you want friction, conflict or a character who says no, OurDream gives you more to work with.

| Premium annual | $9.99/mo | $119.88 a year | 2,000 upfront, then 1,000/mo |
Both annual plans cut the monthly price roughly in half or better. Older figures floating around the web, such as Candy at $12.99 a month or $5.99 a month annually, are out of date. These numbers were checked in September 2026.
What people actually spend is another matter. Active Candy users reportedly spend $25 to $60 a month, and some hit $80, because the base allowance runs out fast once you generate media. OurDream users on the entry plan get far more before they need a top-up. Dreamcoins do not expire, which is a genuine advantage over Candy, where unused tokens expire at the end of the billing period after you cancel.
Neither free tier is a trial in any useful sense. Candy gives you 5 messages in total, 1 character and 1 image. That is enough to see the interface and nothing more.
OurDream charges 1 dreamcoin per message on the free tier, blocks media entirely, and does not let you buy coins. You can read and poke around, but you cannot generate a picture without paying.
Call it a tie. Both are demos, not products. If you want to judge image quality, one paid month is the honest test.
This is the weakest area for both, and the problems are different.
Candy is run by EverAI Limited in Malta, so GDPR applies. Data is encrypted in transit but there is no end-to-end encryption. Candy keeps account data for up to 3 years after your last activity, and it may train models on de-identified prompts and outputs with human review. Your billing statement shows EverAI, not Candy, which matters if you share a card.
OurDream is run by Dream Studio USA, Inc. in Delaware. It encrypts data at rest and in transit, and its hosting carries SOC 2 Type 2. Account deletion takes 24 to 48 hours. The problem is the homepage, which claims end-to-end encryption. The privacy policy does not support that claim, and we treat the marketing line as wrong until the company proves otherwise. Its Automod also admits in its own wording that it is currently too sensitive, so expect false positives on harmless prompts.
On content rules the two agree on the basics. Both are 18+, both allow adult material with fictional adults, and both ban minors, real-person likeness and deepfakes, and illegal content. Both may ask for ID or use age estimation in some regions. Keep your real name, face and location out of chats on either platform.
Candy's refund window is 24 hours, and only if you have used 20 tokens or fewer. Card payments only. EU and UK users get a 14-day prorated withdrawal right on top of that. Candy accepts Visa and Mastercard, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer and crypto.
OurDream takes reports within 14 days and decides case by case, but denies refunds once more than 25% of the product is used. It takes cards and crypto, with G2A codes as a fallback, and no PayPal.
Crypto payments are final on both. Refund rules change, so read the current policy before you pay, not after.
Choose Candy.ai if the picture is the point. You want fast, polished, consistent images, a cheap annual price to test the water, and a clean interface in one of 13 languages. You are fine with roughly 25 images a month or paying for top-ups, and you do not need long story arcs.
Choose OurDream AI if you generate a lot of media. Ten times the monthly credits, longer video with optional audio, group roleplay, a library of over 11 million characters and a published price list for every feature make it the better value for heavy use. You accept English-only, a blurring policy on lapse, and a company that overstates its encryption.
Either way, start with one month. Watch how fast credits go. Download anything you want to keep. And ignore any app store listing or promo code claiming to be either service: both run only on their official websites.
OurDream AI is the better buy for most paying users. It wins on credits, video length, customization and roleplay depth, and the gap in our overall scores reflects that. Candy.ai is the better first purchase if you mainly want good pictures without a steep bill, and its images are the best of the two.
Neither has strong long-term memory, and neither deserves praise for privacy. Pay month to month until you know which one you actually open.
OurDream AI scores slightly higher in our ranking, mainly on credits, video and roleplay depth. Candy.ai wins on image quality and the cheapest entry price. For most paying users OurDream is the better value; for someone who mainly wants polished pictures on a small budget, Candy is the smarter pick.
Candy's subscription is cheaper: $3.99 a month billed yearly versus $9.99 for OurDream. But Candy gives 100 tokens a month and OurDream gives 1,000 dreamcoins, so heavy media users usually spend less overall on OurDream, especially once top-ups start.
Both are 18+ and allow adult content with fictional adult characters. Both ban minors, real-person likeness and deepfakes, and illegal material, and both may require age verification in some regions.
OurDream is slightly better, but neither holds a long conversation well. Candy storylines reportedly reset after 48 to 72 hours, and OurDream forgets details too. Repeat important facts to the character when they matter.
No. Neither Candy.ai nor OurDream AI has a native iPhone or Android app. Both run in the browser and can be added to your home screen as a web app.
