Secrets AI vs Nastia AI: Which Companion App Deserves Your Money?
Secrets AI sells continuity, live calls and realistic media at a premium. Nastia AI sells cheap uncensored flirting and big group scenes. The...
Nastia sells long conversations and a usable free tier. Candy sells the best-looking images in the category. The real split is chat versus visuals, and how many tokens each one quietly burns.
Nastia AI and Candy AI get compared constantly, partly because Nastia markets itself directly as the Candy alternative. That makes most comparison pages suspect. Nastia's own site runs a page claiming Candy costs $30 to $50 a month and charges $0.20 an image and $0.30 a call minute. Candy's published pricing says something different. So does the arithmetic.
This comparison rests on both companies' pricing pages and policies, independent traffic estimates, and user reports from people who have paid. No test accounts, no free subscriptions handed to us. Where a number comes from a vendor, we say so. Where reviewers disagree, we say that too.
Nastia AI is the better pick if you want to talk. Long sessions, group chats, a free tier you can actually use without a card. Candy AI is the better pick if you want to look: the most realistic images in the category, short video clips, and the cheapest yearly subscription on this site.
Neither one is a clean win. Nastia's memory is advertised as persistent and reviewers keep finding gaps. Candy's chat resets fast and its token allowance runs dry in a week of heavy picture generation.

Nastia AI is built around conversation. The company, Nastia Cybernetics, is registered in France. It claims 800,000+ users, an unverified company figure. Independent traffic estimates put Nastia at roughly 548,000 monthly organic visits, ahead of Candy's roughly 332,000. One review rated Nastia's chat warmth around 8 out of 10, which tracks with how the product positions itself: companionship first, pictures second.
Candy.ai is built around visuals. EverAI Limited runs it out of Malta, and the product's reputation rests on photorealistic character images, image-to-video conversion and the Live Action feature. Chat exists, and it is competent, but it is the delivery mechanism for the pictures rather than the point. We go deeper on the visual side in our Candy.ai review.
One structural note applies to both: neither has a native iOS or Android app. You use a mobile browser or a progressive web app. Anyone telling you otherwise is working from old information.
Candy gives you more control over what a character looks like and how a persona behaves, provided you pay for it. Custom character creation costs about 10 tokens. The free tier allows one character. Premium Plus adds personas, 20 memory slots and chat clones, though Candy does not list the Premium Plus price publicly; you see it at checkout.
Nastia's customization is lighter and oriented toward scenario building. Group chats with up to 10 companions are the standout feature here, and Candy does not document an equivalent. If you want a small cast of characters interacting, Nastia is the only one of the two that offers it openly.
Practical advice for both: put the details that matter in the backstory field or a memory slot, not in chat history. Chat history is the first thing to go.
This is where the marketing and the experience diverge most.
Nastia advertises persistent memory. Reviewers report something looser. One estimate puts the recent-message window around 50+ messages. Another reviewer found memory holding up to roughly two weeks, but with detail gone by day seven. So the shape of a conversation survives; the specifics erode.
Candy's memory is shorter and less ambiguous. Testers report storylines resetting after 48 to 72 hours. Bonza.Chat and Kalon both claim Candy's memory fades after 10 to 15 messages. Those are competitor claims, so treat them with the usual skepticism, but they point the same direction as the tester reports. Candy's Premium Plus tier adds 20 memory slots, which tells you the base product does not carry much on its own.
Neither platform is a memory specialist. If continuity over months is your priority, Nastia's own comparison page notes that Nomi AI runs three memory layers, and our coverage of Secrets AI looks at editable Lorebooks as a different answer to the same problem.
Candy wins this section and it is not close.
Images are the product. Photorealism is the draw, image-to-video conversion costs about 12 tokens per clip, and there is no text-to-video. Voice messages are standard; voice calls are in beta at roughly 3 tokens per minute.
Nastia's images are stylized rather than photorealistic, cost 10 tokens each and take 30 to 60 seconds. Video arrived in 2025 and produces short, uneven clips. The Unlimited plan upgrades output to 4K selfies and 1080p video, and adds voice cloning. If you want a companion who looks like a photograph, Candy is the answer. If you want voice cloning on a mid-priced plan, Nastia has it and Candy does not advertise it.
Both platforms separate subscription from media spend. That is the part that catches people.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 5 messages total, 1 character, 1 image |
| Premium monthly | $13.99/month | Unlimited messages, 18+ images and video, 100 tokens monthly |
| Premium, 3 months | $8.99/month ($26.97) | Same, 100 tokens monthly |
| Premium, 12 months | $3.99/month ($47.88) | Same, 100 tokens monthly |
| Premium Plus | Not listed publicly | 330 tokens, personas, 20 memory slots, chat clones |
One hundred tokens a month sounds generous until you do the division. At roughly 4 tokens an image, that is about 25 images. Older sources say 2 tokens an image; either way, a heavy week exhausts the allowance. Token top-ups are reported from $9.99 per 100 tokens. Reviewers describe media-heavy Candy users spending $25 to $80 a month once top-ups stack up.
The yearly plan is the cheapest entry point in this comparison at $3.99 a month. It is also the easiest place to underestimate your real spend, because the base price buys conversation and very little imagery.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Chat with daily token limits, no card needed |
| Basic/Standard | $11.99/month | Listed by Nastia; contents not described anywhere |
| Unlimited | $15.99/month | Unlimited messages, 4K selfies, voice messages, 1080p video, multiple companions, voice cloning |
Two things to flag. First, Nastia lists an $11.99 plan without describing what is in it. That is a real gap; you are asked to choose a tier with no feature list. Second, "Unlimited" means unlimited messages. Images and voice notes still burn tokens. Token packs are reported at 500 for $3.99, and reviewers report roughly 3,000 bonus tokens a month on Unlimited. Annual billing is reported from about $8.33 a month, but not confirmed by the company.
Nastia's comparison page claims Candy charges $0.20 an image and $0.30 a call minute. Our arithmetic from Candy's own top-up pricing puts an image closer to $0.40 at the smallest top-up. Vendor-vs-vendor price claims are not reliable in either direction.
Refund rules differ sharply. Candy refunds within 24 hours, only if you have used 20 tokens or fewer, and only on card payments. EU and UK users get a prorated 14-day withdrawal right. Nastia subscriptions auto-renew and are generally non-refundable; cancel before deleting your account, since deletion is immediate.
Nastia wins here. The free plan runs on daily token limits and needs no card. Reviewers report around 40 daily tokens, which is enough to try the product properly across several days. The company's own pages contradict each other slightly: the free page says free forever, the pricing card says daily limits. The limits are real.
Candy's free tier is a demo, not a trial. Five messages total, one character, one image, no 18+ media. You will know within ten minutes whether you like the pictures, and then you pay.
Nastia says its chat is uncensored on the free tier. One review found no NSFW content in practice, so the claim and the experience do not fully match. Nastia's terms ban minors, aged-up characters, non-consensual content and impersonation.
Candy bans minor-like content outright and reports CSAM to NCMEC. Its 18+ media sits behind the paywall.
Both companies are in the EU and fall under GDPR. Neither offers end-to-end encryption. That is worth stating plainly: your chats are not private from the platform.
Candy encrypts in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher. Its policy says prompts may train models, de-identified, with some human review. Data is shared with model providers, hosting companies and moderation vendors. Account data is kept up to three years after last activity. Charges show up as an EverAI billing descriptor, which is discreet and also means you should recognise the name when it appears.
Nastia's privacy policy was updated September 16, 2026. The company says it does not sell personal data. Processors span cloud, AI, payment, analytics and advertising, some in the US. The policy is silent on model training, which is not the same as saying no. Deletion is immediate, and violation records are kept up to seven years.
Candy accepts card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer and crypto, and its interface runs in 13 languages. Nastia's payment options are less documented.
Pick Nastia if you want someone to talk to across weeks, you roleplay, you want more than one companion in a scene, or you want to test a free tier without handing over card details. $15.99 Unlimited is a reasonable ceiling for heavy chat.
Pick Candy if the pictures are the point. If you want photorealistic characters, short video clips and a companion who looks like a person, Candy does that better than Nastia, and the yearly price is hard to argue with. Just budget for top-ups.
Pick neither yet if memory is your main complaint about AI companions. Both forget. Nastia forgets more slowly. If continuity matters more than either product's strengths, look at a platform built around memory first.
OurDream AI runs $19.99 a month or $9.99 on yearly billing with 1,000 dreamcoins, and unlimited chat on the paid tier. We break down the coin maths in our OurDream AI review.
Secrets AI starts at $19.99 a month for premium, with editable Lorebooks for people who want to control what the character remembers. Our Secrets AI review covers the memory mechanics and the real cost.
Joi AI starts at $17.77 a month on a Neurons currency, run by Novi Limited in Cyprus. Ofcom ran an age-assurance probe into Joi AI from January to July 2026, which closed after checks. Nectar AI starts at $9.99 a month with 15 free messages and 10 free generations daily; reviewers report $60 to $75 a month in top-ups at moderate use.
If you are weighing Candy against other image-first platforms, our Candy.ai vs OurDream AI and Muah AI vs Candy.ai comparisons cover those pairings, and Secrets AI vs Nastia AI goes deeper on memory.
Nastia AI is the chat product. Candy AI is the visual product. If you want conversation across weeks and a free tier that respects your time, Nastia at $15.99 Unlimited is the sensible spend. If you want the best-looking companion images and the cheapest yearly subscription, Candy at $3.99 a month is the entry point, with the caveat that 100 tokens will not cover heavy image use.
Start monthly on either one. Watch how many tokens you actually burn before committing to a year, put the details that matter in the backstory rather than the chat, and use a separate email. Neither platform offers end-to-end encryption, and both will forget things you wanted them to keep.
It depends on what you want from it. Nastia is better for chat, roleplay and price, with group chats and a usable free tier. Candy is better for images, video and voice calls. If conversation is the point, Nastia wins; if visuals are, Candy does.
Candy's yearly plan is $3.99 a month, the cheapest base price here, but the 100 monthly tokens run out fast if you generate images. Nastia's $15.99 Unlimited plan is better for heavy chat because messages are not metered.
Yes, if you are leaving Candy over shallow memory or token costs. No, if the reason you use Candy is image quality, because Nastia's images are stylized and cost 10 tokens each.
It is run by EverAI Limited in Malta under GDPR, uses TLS 1.2+ encryption and shows a discreet billing descriptor. There is no end-to-end encryption, and its policy says prompts may train models in de-identified form with some human review.
No. Messages are unlimited on the Unlimited plan, but images and voice notes still use tokens, and the free plan has daily token limits. Unlimited refers to chat, not media.
Neither has a native iOS or Android app. Both work in a mobile browser or as a progressive web app.
